I started working with computers in 1978.

When I was 14 years old,  a neighborhood friend and I built a small computer. I got hooked and have been doing this as a hobby ever since. Because I started using computers before computers were affordable for most people, I never developed a bias towards either PCs or Apple and work with both. I own PCs because they better fit into my budget. With Windows Vista such a disaster, I am looking more towards a Linus based system.

I have been providing free PC and Apple repairs to low income families for 9 years. Additionally, when I have extra parts, I have been renovating used computers and have been giving them away to local families. To date, I have given away 196 systems at no charge to the recipient.

If you have old computers that you don't want to go into the dump, contact me and I will refurbish it for a local family to use.
